You may already be aware that on August 12th, the new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulations (PPWR) came into effect across Europe. Article 45(3), also known as the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), requires mandatory Authorized Representatives in each member state.

For many European micro-enterprises, the EPR has created an extreme administrative and financial burden, effectively closing down the single trade market for them. They are suffering major consequences and risk being driven out of business.

As our local business community is currently facing immense uncertainty, we ask for your organisation's support in taking immediate action against this packaging law.
